Ni-coated natural graphite is best used for EMI & RFI Shielding as well as thermal spray abradable seals. The nickel-coated natural graphite's shielding properties are used to protect the internal or electrical mechanisms from electrical interference. It provides shielding and is relatively inexpensive compared to other materials used in shielding, such as silver-coated fillers. Ni/Gr is also commonly used to make high-quality uniform abradable seals in turbine engine applications.
