Lattice Block Structure products comprise of a group of structured materials fabricated through a variety of production methods. These products can be engineered for desired mechanical performance levels and physical properties through the integration of a broad range of materials.
The properties of the repeating pattern of LBS are significantly more predictable under stress and atmospheric changes than randomly shaped foamed materials and honeycomb structures. LBS products have been constructed from various steels, super alloys, plastics, aluminums and other specialty alloys.
Our LBS also can be engineered through the integration of a broad range of materials. Some of these methods of production include: Cast LBS, Molded LBS, Plated LBS and MicroPerf LBS.
Unlike monolithic or honeycomb materials, the void spaces in LBS can be filled with insulating, strengthening, or soundproofing materials.
